Ben Bloom has been elected as the new chair of the British Athletics Writers Association.

The Telegraph’s athletics correspondent accepted the role at the 2019 Annual General Meeting in Birmingham, taking over from Mark Woods.

Athletics Weekly’s (or AW’s as now preferred) Jess Whittington joins the BAWA Committee.
